Oorja Garg, Class of 2025

Oorja Garg (b. 1996) is a curator based in New Delhi and New York. Her curatorial practice is rooted in interdisciplinary research methodologies and peer engagement, aiming for the cross-pollination of ideas. Her research interests include popular visual culture, game theory, gender performativity, and psychoanalysis. Garg holds an MA in Art History and Aesthetics from MS University of Baroda, Gujarat, India. She is a recipient of the CISA (Curatorial Intensive South Asia) fellowship, organized by Khoj International Artists' Association and Goethe-Institut Max Mueller Bhavan in New Delhi. She has also gained substantial experience in the commercial art world, working with leading contemporary art galleries in India and managing art fair booths.
